Sushanth's Current on Oct 19
Current, the film starring Sushanth (debut hero of Kalidas), will be launched to its shoot at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad on October 19th morning. The film is made on Sri Nag Corporation banner as the second film of Sushanth. Chinthalapudi Srinivasa Rao and A Nagasusheela are the producers. Sneha Ullal is the heroine for Sushanth. Surya Pratap, who worked with Sukumat and Bhaskar, is making his debut as director, besides providing the story and screenplay. Highlight is that Devi Sri Prasad scores music. Vijay C Kumar is the cinematographer. Editing is by Marthand K. Venkatesh. Kanal Kannan composes the stunts.

PRP overcomes EC muster norms
The Praja Rajyam Party of Chiranjeevi has overcome the legal formalities and the Election Commission is expected to issue the confirmation soon, according to the party's official representative Dr. Vinay. The party's legal advisor Raghunandan and Dr. Vinay today disposed themselves before the EC for individual appearance as part of the commission's final enquiry into the party's registration. Vinay told the media in New Delhi that the EC informed them that the letter of confirmation of the registration would be sent the party headquarters directly. Earlier, one Chennakrishnaiah petitioned with the EC claiming PRP on his name, but withdrew the same voluntarily, facilitating it for Chiranjeevi.

Three premiere at 9:30 pm
Sekhar Suri’s much awaited thriller ‘Three’ will be premiered to the industry and the press today evening at 9:30 in screen 2 of Adlabs cinemas. This film sports Urvasi Sharma, Rajiv Kanakala, Rishi & Santhi Chandra in the main leads. The story of the film revolves around 13 characters and it is inspired by a real incident happened in Hyderabad. Three film is releasing worldwide on 17 October.

Minister's ire at Chiranjeevi
State minister Raghuveera Reddy today demanded Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi to inform the people about the remuneration which he took for his films and how much IT he had paid. Talking to the media at Anantapur, the minister ridiculed the statement of Chiranjeevi that he would run the party even by disposing his assets. "I demand Chiranjeevi to disclose as to how much amount was spent for the party's Tirupati meet and for the Praja Ankitha Yatra. There is no difference between a cat drinking milk by closing eyes and Chiranjeevi. I also demand him to reveal how much the party collected from the rich aspirants of the party tickets."

Adiseshagiri Rao as APCC Gen Sec
G. Adiseshagiri Rao, brother of superstar Krishna, is today nominated as the general secretary of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee. He recently took the responsibility to steer activities of the newly-integrated Krishna-Mahesh Yuva Sena as its honorary president and set the target for 50,000-strong membership all over the state in the first leg. Rao is one among the 20 Gen-Secs in the committee. In view of Krishna's family declaring allegiance to the Congress party, Rao's rendezvous with the party assumes significance.

Stars rally at Rameshwaram
A big contingent of stars from Kollywood is going to hold a massive rally at Rameshwaram on October 19th to express their solidarity with the Srilankan Tamils. Popular director Bharatiraja is already in Rameshwaram to oversee the arrangements. The Tamil film industry took a decision to cancel the shooting for three days from October 18th to 20th in this regard. After the rally, the movie artistes will also address the public. Bharatiraja welcomed the refugees from Sri Lanka at Danushkoti, the starting point of the controversial and legendary Ramsethu across the Palk Bay.
